Repair or Replace? How We Call It

A fence with one loose picket needs a screw, not a sales pitch. But when posts are leaning, rot has moved into multiple sections, or a storm has taken out whole runs, patching becomes a treadmill. Replacement usually wins on cost per year the moment repairs stop being isolated, and we will tell you which side of that line your fence is on at the estimate. If you want the full breakdown, read our repair vs replacement cost guide.

[ WHAT'S INCLUDED ]

What Every Fence Replacement Includes

Every fence replacement follows the same process so there are no surprises on installation day. Here is what is included with every project:

Financing available

Fence replacement is a larger investment than most repairs, so we offer financing through Wisetack. During your estimate we will provide financing options and estimated monthly payments so you can compare them with paying upfront. Estimates are free and done on site, with no separate travel charge.

[ MATERIAL OPTIONS ]

Keep the Same Fence or Upgrade the Material

Replacement is also the cheapest moment to change materials, because the tear-out and layout work is already in the price. Plenty of our replacements swap tired wood for low-maintenance vinyl or aluminum, or step up to a premium fence. Like-for-like wood replacement works too. We will price the options side by side so you can compare.

[ WHO WE SERVE ]

Residential and Commercial

Residential

Most replacements start with a fence that has quietly aged out. Leaning runs, soft posts, gates that drag. We replace backyard privacy fences, pool enclosures, and HOA streetscapes, and if an HOA has to approve the new fence, we help you get that approval before anything is ordered.

Commercial

For a business, a failing fence is a security and liability problem, not a cosmetic one. We replace perimeter and security fencing for offices, warehouses, and job sites, scheduled so your property is not left open any longer than necessary.

How a Fence Replacement Goes

Before we tear anything out, we walk the line with you, confirm what stays and what goes, get utilities located through 811, and sort out permit and HOA requirements for the new fence.

On tear-out day, the old fence comes down and gets hauled away, and the new posts start going in as quickly as the concrete and the schedule allow, so your yard is not sitting open for weeks.

Before we leave, we walk the finished fence with you, test every gate, and haul off every scrap of the old fence along with the construction debris.

Fence Replacement FAQs

Should I repair or replace my fence?

If the damage is isolated, a repair can make sense. Once posts are leaning, rot or rust has spread into multiple sections, or storm damage has taken out whole runs, replacement is usually the better spend. We give you an honest read at the on-site estimate, including when a repair is the right call.

Do you haul away the old fence?

Yes. Tear-out and haul-away are part of the replacement job. We remove the old fence, dispose of it, and clean up the site, so you are not left with a pile of old panels or a second bill from a junk hauler.

Can I switch to a different fence material when I replace?

Yes. Replacement is the cheapest time to upgrade because the tear-out and layout work is already included. We regularly replace worn wood fences with vinyl or aluminum, and we will price like-for-like and upgrade options side by side.

Will replacing my fence increase my property value?

A new fence can improve curb appeal, privacy, and security while eliminating the maintenance issues that come with an aging fence. Many homeowners replace older fences before selling or renovating their property.

How long does a fence replacement take?

It depends on the length of the fence and the material, and most residential replacements are measured in days, not weeks. You get a real timeline with your free on-site estimate, and we keep you updated from tear-out to final walkthrough.

Do you handle permits and HOA approval for replacements?

Yes. Even a like-for-like replacement can trigger permit or HOA requirements depending on your city, county, and neighborhood. We check what applies at your address before work starts so the new fence does not have to come back down.

Is financing available for fence replacement?

Yes. We offer financing through Wisetack, and your estimate includes a link showing an estimated monthly payment for your project.
